Jason L Smith is one the most well-rounded musicians in the North Georgia area playing almost every genre of music. As a former musician in the US Army band, Jason has traveled throughout Europe playing in many venues. He started playing piano at age 5 and continued for many years primarily playing gospel until entering the military's music program and the University of Maryland. Jason performs straight ahead jazz, blues and R&B regularly at many venues. He has performed with the Rome Clocktower Jazz Ensemble and is a founding member of the ATC Jazz Quartet.
Jason is very active in the ministry and the church. Jason attended Light of the World Seminary/Ordination training Academy for ordination in the ministry. Jason conducts clinics/lectures in the ministry and in the public arena. His Let Them Play Foundation promotes music education through free music camps for children each summer. He enjoys giving lectures on leadership and motivation. This coupled with a passion for music and speaking means Jason is sure to make your conference or special event memorable and enjoyable.
Jason is married to Georgia, who is also a native Roman, and has 3 children.
